Brain White Matter Abnormalities in Women with IC/BPS
woman in pain Recent research showed women with interstitial cystitis (IC) and bladder pain syndrome (BPS) exhibit numerous white matter abnormalities that correlated with severity of pain, urinary symptoms, and impaired quality of life.  Read more...

MSG and Aspartame Increase Fibromyalgia Symptoms
Kathleen HoltonDrs. Kathleen Holton and Kim Jones and their research team members found that clinically significant symptom improvement was reported by 84% of the participants who completed the four-week diet in their research and suggests a diet free of excitotoxin is not only feasible for individuals, but that it improves symptoms of FM/IBS.  This indicates excitotoxins may evoke symptoms in some FM/IBS patients.  Dr. Holton will present their findings at the TAP Chronic Pain Conference.

In 2015 the National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association announced their campaign theme of "Your Voice Matters:  Make Fibromyalgia Visible."  And that is exactly what he is doing for his sister, DestDominique Easleyinee.  As a loving big brother, Domonique developed a new fan base when he began to use his football fame and popularity to help spread awareness about FM, hopoing one day a cure will be found for his sister and others living with this terrible disease.   Read more...
